Ensure systems meet performance standards and collaborate with suppliers. Requirements and Skills: Expertise in optical system design, modeling, and trade studies using zemax. Hands-on experience testing and validating optical systems. Proven ability to design for extreme environments and mass-constrained applications. Familiarity with complex systems (e.g., telescopes, optical relays) and image stabilization. Knowledge of photonic components such as lasers, detectors, and optical coatings.
