Grade: Grade 5, Pts 7 to 8
Salary: £8,451 to £8,592 per annum
F/T Salary: £5,634 to £5,728 per annum

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Learning Support Assistant to join Ratby Primary School on a permanent basis with fixed term additional hours until 25th August 2025. The working days for the position will be Monday Tuesday and Wednesday (Permanent) and Thursday & Friday (Fixed Term). We are looking for someone that is determined and professional with the willingness to learn. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a successful and dynamic school environment.
The Learning Support Assistant is responsible for providing support to our pupils and teachers to provide high quality education. The successful candidate will work with whole classes, small groups and SEN pupils on an individual 1:1 basis.
This role is a rewarding one with a successful candidate having the opportunity to gain more experience in the classroom, and work with a supportive team who are enthusiastic about education and ensuring that the children reach their potential in all areas of the curriculum.
The ideal candidate:
• Must have a NVQ Level 3 or equivalent experience in Teaching and Learning
• Will have experience working in a classroom environment
• Will have good literacy and numeracy skills
• Will possess excellent communication skills
