FMCG National Account Manager ( NAM)
Location: Hybrid Primarily home-based with 23 days per week in London HQ, plus regular customer visits.

A leading food production company with a strong presence in London is looking for a dynamic National Account Manager to oversee and grow relationships with top-tier UK retail partners.
What Youll Be Doing
As a pivotal part of the commercial team, you will:
Develop and execute tailored strategies to drive growth and exceed account objectives.
Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.
Take full ownership of customer accounts, managing promotions, pricing, distribution, and product visibility both in-store and online.
Lead customer projects from concept to completion, ensuring excellence at every touchpoint.
Maintain up-to-date records and ensure smooth coordination with supply chain and logistics.
Drive negotiations with confidence from securing new listings to adjusting pricing and promotional plans.
Monitor account performance, analyse data, generate insights, and proactively adjust plans to maximise outcomes.
What Were Looking For
Previous experience managing major UK grocery or retail accounts (minimum 2 years required).
Strong commercial awareness, confident in interpreting data and translating it into actionable plans.
Proven success in securing new business and expanding distribution opportunities.
Skilled in negotiation, building rapport, and influencing decision-makers.
High proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
A collaborative mindset and ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, supply chain, and NPD teams.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
