A school based in the SP5 are in need of a strong, determined and open minded educator to work within a small year 4 classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide a varied and inclusive curriculum to help students progress.
* Create and maintain a positive, respectful, and engaging classroom environment.
* Implement effective strategies for behaviour management to ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment.
* Work closely with teaching assistants, support staff, and fellow teachers to create a collaborative and supportive school community.
* Contribute to school-wide initiatives and participate in staff meetings and school events.
* Communicate regularly with parents about their child’s progress, addressing concerns and celebrating achievements.
* Ensure the safety and well-being of students, following all safeguarding policies and procedures.
* Recognize and act on any safeguarding concerns, reporting to the relevant authorities.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Experience teaching primary-aged children (preferably Year 4).
* Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and educational best practices.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Experience with challenging behaviour.
* Have an Enhanced DBS and on the update service.
