Planning Business Director

Daily rate: £450/day
Hybrid: 3 days onsite / 2 days remote

Core Competencies:
* Very strong understanding of media channels, as well as being a key partner to the relevant Strategy Director, in connecting insights and strategy with media planning outputs.
* Be the key contact for senior clients.
* Must have strong experience in people management, overseeing how the goals and objectives of the whole team align with the vision for success.
* Must have strong capabilities in training managers to be effective people managers, providing guidance and encouragement to empower them to grow and develop their direct reports.
* Show care for the team and a desire to nurture their growth and development within the agency.
* Consistently identify ways to help the team deliver their best work.
* Demonstrate excellent client management skills, from relationship management to crisis control.
* Show enthusiasm and engagement in wider agency initiatives and opportunities.
* Experience with award-winning work and the ability to spot opportunities to elevate good work to great work.
* Interest in building Starcom's reputation and fostering positive relationships with media owners and partner agencies.
* Be solutions-focused and drive this mindset within the wider team.
* Ensure the SQUAD process is executed where relevant in the team's tasks.
* Strong organizational skills are imperative, as the Planning team coordinates various work streams with other media teams efficiently.
