What You'll Do
As a Solutions Engineer at Cisco, you will drive customer digital transformation, focusing on customer success and aligned outcomes. You will support the UKI sales account team in a pre-sales technical role, working with Cisco and Cisco Partner technology for our Services Provider & Media customers.
Your primary responsibilities include:
1. Driving technology and business transformation for customers.
2. Conducting pilots/PoC and explaining features and benefits to customers.
3. Crafting solutions and designs.
4. Demonstrating technical solutions across various domains, including Service Provider Routing, Mobility, Cloud Compute, Data Center Routing and Switching, Security, and Automation.
5. Participating as a specialist and providing consultative support alongside other Solutions Engineers.
6. Planning and implementing the sales strategy to meet sales targets.
Who You'll Work With
You will be part of the core Account Team, working closely with Account Managers and Solutions Engineers, and collaborating with Cisco Engineering and CX teams to deliver optimal solutions for customers.
Who You Are
Minimum Qualifications:
* 5+ years’ experience in a technical role within the Service Provider industry.
* Solid knowledge in Service Provider Routing, Enterprise Networking, Cloud Compute technologies, Security & Automation.
* Strong analytical skills and ability to present effective solutions.
* Experience engaging with customer roles from engineers to C-Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
* BS in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
* Understanding of Cisco's product families.
* Experience with SW-based solutions and subscription licensing.
* Strong customer relationship skills.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
