About the role: Part time position (0.5 FTE) Fixed Term – 12 month contract Reporting to the Clinical Compliance Consultant, the Diversity and Inclusion Coordinator enhances the organisation's capability to provide diverse and inclusive services, with a specific focus on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander (ATSI) and Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) populations. The role will play a key role in supporting the organisation's response to requirements set out within the Aged Care Act 2024 and the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards, while also developing an approach that ensures our services are safe, inclusive, and respectful of the diverse backgrounds and life experiences of all individuals. To be successful in this role, you will have : Tertiary qualification in Health Sciences, Social Services, Education or another relevant field. Previous experience in a similar role, specifically in diversity, equity, and inclusion roles. Previous experience & understanding of the Aged Care Regulatory environment. Ability to consult with and build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, necessary for reporting to stakeholders. Proven ability in developing and implementing strategic change within a business.
