We're seeking creative and passionate Principal Wastewater Specialists to drive the integration of our long-term delivery strategies.

As a Principal Wastewater Specialist, you will be pivotal in shaping the future of our wastewater and environmental programmes. As a consequence, you will experience what has been described as “the best job in the team”, with a huge variety of responsibilities and the ability to significantly influence all levels of the business.
You'll need to be able to switch between the big picture and details quickly. This will include working across drainage and sewerage, wastewater treatment, and bioresource management to ensure alignment with our long-term strategies. This includes our Drainage and Wastewater Management Plan (DWMP), Water Industry National Environment Programme (WINEP), and Long-Term Delivery Strategy (LTDS).
What you'll need
You'll need to be a collaborative worker who questions usual processes to ensure we're making best use of our data. This role will suit someone who has the knowledge and experience forming and explaining perspectives on a wide range of strategic matters.
You will need:
* To be degree qualified or equivalent, preferably a chartered engineer or equivalent status.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Personal skills to enable effective working with people at all levels.
* Experience delivering results through cross-functional working.
* Experience in drainage and sewerage network systems.
* Experience with wastewater treatment processes.
* Experience in bioresource management.
* Experience in the financial and environmental regulatory frameworks.
* Experience in wastewater operations and the cost of proposed investments.
* Experience in asset management.
