Our client, Transformers and Rectifiers Ltd, are a specialist world leader in the design, manufacture, installation, and maintenance of heavy machinery, offering world class engineering solutions to a global customer base. The products are largely custom designed and are distributed widely throughout the world for applications in the building services, electricity distribution, industrial processes, medical equipment and transport.

Transformers and Rectifiers Ltd are now looking for a Purchasing Assistant to join their friendly team based in Guildford, Surrey. They are seeking a passionate individual working along their Purchasing Team.

Purchasing Assistant, the role:

* Supporting Buyer in ad-hoc purchasing activities
* Building strong relationships with suppliers
* Registering all order acknowledgements, ensuring compliance with purchase orders
* Progressing purchase orders to ensure requested delivery dates are adhered to
* Monitoring and reporting on supplier on-time delivery metrics
* Providing cover as needed for admin/purchasing/finance departments
* Supporting Management on regular and ad-hoc tasks
