What you’ll be doing Ensure the lobby area, concierge and front desk create a clean and welcoming environment for guests Ensure all the external fire doors are locked after 11pm. Ensure security of the property at all times. Answer At Your Service (switch board) and complete administrative tasks as required Cleaning of back and front of house areas as required Complete guest wake up calls on time Attending to guest requests, assisting with baggage and preparing rooms if required Assisting room service Complete check lists thoroughly and correctly on a nightly basis. Be aware of all accounting and auditing practices relevant to the front office Support the night reception when necessary Be proactive in carrying out tasks and checklists Carry out work delegated by the Night Managers efficiently and correctly What we’re looking for Previous experience working within a hotel Front Office or similar customer service environment preferred Night worker experience preferred Strong communication skills (verbal, listening, writing) Innovative Pro-active, reliable and flexible Great conversational skills and teamwork-oriented Positive outlook This is a full time position (40 hours per week) working night shifts.
