We have an opportunity for a Network Services Lead Engineer to join our Technology team, based in Worcester. You will be responsible for delivering technology capability within Sanctuary Group to ensure employees have access to the systems they need to perform their duties. The main purpose of this role is to manage the operational delivery of Technology Network Services, providing technical expertise to lead the design, development and continuous improvement of services in line with the Group's immediate and long term values and objectives.
The role of Network Services Lead Engineer will include:
* Design and co-ordinate the development and operational delivery of the Network infrastructure services across the Group and ensure that they are efficient, fit-for-purpose, robust and integrated.
* Manage the effective resolution of technical infrastructure incidents and problems.
* Lead a team of engineers ensuring the delivery of projects on time and within budget.
* Design and deliver service improvements to Network infrastructure services to optimise the use and effectiveness of systems, including research of the possibilities for new technologies.
* Plan the delivery of new and integrate existing Network infrastructure services to meet the future needs of the Group, ensuring effective appraisal of new technologies and their suitability in meeting Group needs, including scalability.
* Build, develop and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders.
* Manage the recruitment, performance management and development of quality employees to ensure that the required skilled people are available to meet business needs for delivering Network infrastructure services and development.
* Ensure all Network and Communications services and data are secure and compliant by design in line with the Group's policies and procedures and reflect best practice.
* Contribute, as appropriate, to special programmes and projects in support of the Group’s values and objectives.
Skills and experiences:
* ITIL Foundation Certificate.
* Qualifications in Network infrastructure, Cisco (CCNA) / (CCNP), Aruba (ACA) / (ACSP).
* Qualifications in Cloud Network Solutions: Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate.
* Significant experience of designing and implementing improvements to Network infrastructure services.
* Proven experience in supporting the management of medium to large scale infrastructure related projects.
* Experience of people and stakeholder management.
* Proven experience of working to deadlines and prioritising work loads.

* Role salary is £53,134 with an additional policy allowance of £5,313 per annum (rising to £55,931 with an additional policy allowance of £5,593 per annum after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance).
