Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Human Resources Advisor to join our healthcare client's team just south of Bath. This is a newly created position suitable for an experienced HR generalist looking for a flexible role supporting a great people team providing a comprehensive service to a growing, medium sized business. This is a part time role, contracted at 30 hours per week and can be worked across 4 or 5 days (Mondays and Fridays must be worked, but there is mid-week flexibility). You will be based at their office, commutable by public transport but better by car, and can work from home 1-2 days per week on average. Responsibilities Providing comprehensive HR guidance, managing disciplinary and grievance cases, and supporting conflict resolution. Developing and implementing HR policies, ensuring legal compliance, and contributing to HR governance and reporting. Supporting workforce planning, managing performance management processes, and assisting with recruitment. Coordinating training programs, identifying learning needs, and supporting employee development. Promoting employee wellbeing initiatives, managing absence, and liaising with occupational health services. Supporting HR information systems, contributing to digital HR projects, and ensuring data integrity. Developing and implementing engagement strategies, promoting equality and diversity, and enhancing the employee experience. Contributing to HR projects and supporting the implementation of strategic HR initiatives. Requirements Proven experience in an HR advisory role, providing advice and guidance on a range of HR issues. Experience managing employee relations cases, including disciplinary and grievance processes. Experience developing and implementing HR policies and procedures. Supporting performance management and learning & development initiatives. Working in a fast-paced environment, balancing strategic and operational HR responsibilities. Strong knowledge of UK employment law, HR best practice, and HR policy frameworks. Ability to provide sound, pragmatic HR advice to managers and employees at all levels. Strong influencing and coaching skills, with the ability to support and challenge managers constructively. Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. High levels of discretion and integrity when dealing with confidential and sensitive information. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR Information Systems. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present HR data effectively.
