Nursery Learning Support Assistant (fixed term)
Position Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Part-time - 15 hours per week (Monday - Friday 12:30pm - 3:30pm)
Contract Term: Fixed term contract ending Friday 18th July 2025 - Linked to a named child
Stifford Clays Primary School is seeking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic and experienced Learning Support Assistant to work on a one-to-one basis with a named child within our friendly and supportive team.
The successful applicant will be:
1. Experienced in working with nursery-aged pupils and have a good knowledge of the EYFS curriculum
2. Have a strong and caring personality and be calm, patient, and firm
3. Committed to achievement for all
4. Have good organisation and communication skills
5. Able to contribute to a stimulating, purposeful learning environment
6. Have experience of working with children with additional needs
Stifford Clays Primary School
We are a community-focused school for 2 to 11 year olds, located centrally in the Stifford Clays ward of Thurrock. The original infant and junior schools were built in 1954 and have grown to accommodate 90 children in each year group. We have a resource base provision for children with autism.
