About this opportunity: We’re looking for a Digital Channel Designer to join our dynamic Digital Content & Experience team within the Business & Commercial division of Lloyds Banking Group. You'll be responsible for understanding and responding to business objectives using your experience combined with data and insight to produce outstanding page designs that meet customer needs, drive customer engagement and improve UX. You'll champion the design thinking and visual design craft for Lloyds translating our new brand identify into fresh digital experiences. You'll be both pragmatic, understanding what we can do today within our CMS but show us ambitious ideas to step change our UX and visual design to drive digital channel performance. You'll have strong user experience and design sensibility and a passion for creating visually engaging and user-friendly digital experiences across platforms including our public website and digital banking app. This role requires a collaborative approach and strong creative critical thinking skills as well as being alive to working on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. This is an exciting chance to create a tangible impact to the performance of our digital channels What you’ll be doing: Working with CX Managers, Copy Writers, and content teams to deliver designs that are functional, scalable, and optimised for performance. Developing visually engaging and intuitive designs and interfaces producing high fidelity mock ups that effectively communicate design solutions using Figma. Working with AEM Content Editors to help solve everyday design challenges and ensuring consistent UX across our public websites and other digital channels. Ensuring all designs adhere to accessibility standards, responsive designs principles and best practice for web and digital performance. Fully understanding the capabilities of Adobe AEM in order that your designs are buildable. Staying current with industry trends, tools and technologies and incorporate best practices into design work, proactively sharing knowledge and proposing new design experiences and use cases. Attending weekly meetings with the Digital Content & Experience team to understand priorities and timelines, managing your workload and communicating with team members to ensure your projects are progressing at the correct pace. Participate in design reviews with your team and partners, providing rationale and iterating based on feedback and analytics. Strong knowledge of responsive design and adapting designs and content across device and CMS/design systems Solid experience of Wireframing Confirmed experience of translating verbal and sketched concepts into something with form to drive conversations with partners and support the journey from concept to build. Familiar with Figma or other related design tools Experience designing within a component-based design system and content management platform (AEM ideally) Outstanding collaboration and communication skills with experience working in a cross functional team environment.
