Responsible for overseeing the operations of operational, CDE and Construction support systems within Taylor Woodrow and the wider Vinci business, ensuring optimal performance and data security. Monitoring and maintaining system functionality, implementing controls, and coordinating with various departments to streamline processes and support digital delivery of projects. Troubleshooting and resolving issues promptly to minimize downtime, developing and updating system documentation, and training junior staff in best practices.
This role demands strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Duties
1. Monitor digital support services inbox, allocate incoming requests and manage tasks to ensure timely response and system setup by coordinating with System Controllers, Digital Advisors, Information Managers and other teams across the business.
2. Lead on scheduling, chairing, maintaining and distributing records from digital start-up meetings to determine project needs and provide support on workflows and training.
3. Understanding of construction industry and awareness of financial and commercial systems and impacts.
4. Ensure digital solutions are configured and deployed to meet project requirements and business standards within specified timescales.
5. Maintain digital tools, including system templates, and address bugs or issues.
6. Monitor system use and configuration to ensure data accuracy.
7. Prepare and maintain best practice guides and standards for digital tools, overseen by the Digital Services Manager.
8. Be responsive to business priorities, prioritizing actions that are business-critical or urgently needed by operational teams.
9. Support problem-solving and implement correct solutions.
10. Act as second-line support for unresolved problems, providing training and support as needed.
Person Specification
1. Technical Proficiency and in-depth knowledge (or ability to learn quickly) of various digital technologies and staying updated with technological advancements.
2. Detail-oriented, patient, and meticulous but ability to adapt to projects' specific needs.
3. Project Management skills to plan, set goals, manage resources, and ensure timely delivery of digital projects.
4. Advise others in the navigation of changes in processes, culture, and structure.
5. Proficiency in analyzing data to derive actionable insights and make informed decisions.
6. Aconex experience is essential.
