A leading Manufacturing business in the West Midlands is looking for an Account Manager who is actively seeking to join a progressive and flourishing team in their busy Sales Office. The Account Manager would ideally have a proven background in Sales within an Engineering/Manufacturing environment. The business has experienced considerable growth and has shifted from a £12m to a £20m turnover business. You will be coming onto a warm desk with a lot of business to develop.
Role: Sales Account Manager - Benelux
Salary: £35,000 per annum + Uncapped Commission
Location: West Midlands (Commutable - Birmingham, Dudley, Wolverhampton, Walsall)
Responsibilities for Account Manager
1. Meet and exceed sales targets
2. Successfully create business from new and existing customer accounts
3. Manage complex negotiations with senior-level executives
4. Build rapport and establish long-term relationships with customers
5. Landing & expanding existing customers whilst building your own pipeline
6. Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications for Account Manager
1. Proven track record of success in an Engineering/Manufacturing environment (ideally)
2. Strong collaborative approach and a robust Sales process that you can apply to the role
3. Patience and ability to communicate with businesses in foreign countries (Benelux region)
4. Experience/ability to work in a fast-paced sales environment
5. Strong communicator who is comfortable speaking to senior stakeholders internally and externally
6. Solid work ethic with both Account Management and developing New Business Leads.
You will be working within a vibrant multi-cultural sales office that has a strong work ethic and focuses heavily on a nurturing and supportive environment. You will inherit existing accounts but will be a rounded Account Manager with the skills to bring new customers into the business.
