UI / UX Designer
Job Title: UI / UX Designer
Location: Newcastle upon Tyne
Salary: Up to 45k + Bonus
Job type: Full Time, Permanent (Hybrid working - 3 days in the office, 2 remote)
About the role:
As a UI/UX Designer, you will be responsible for creating intuitive and user-friendly digital interfaces, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable user experience. You will have knowledge of user psychology, design principles, and business goals and apply those to the design of applications, client portals, and other digital platforms.

Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and development engineers.
* Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps.
* Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs, and widgets.
* Develop UI mock-ups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how Apps/sites function and look.
* Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g., responsiveness).
* Adhere to TSG Brand style standards on fonts, colours, and images.
* Work closely with product managers, developers, and other key stakeholders.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create seamless user experiences.
* Present and pitch design concepts to internal teams and clients.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
* A degree in Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
* Relevant certifications in UX/UI design are advantageous.
* Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Sketch, Figma, or similar tools.
* Strong understanding of user-centered design principles.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Proven work experience as a UX/UI Designer or in a similar role.
* A strong portfolio showcasing design projects.
* Experience in conducting user research and usability testing.
