At Home Group we are on the lookout for passionate and proactive Housing Concierges to help keep our customers, some who have quite complex care needs, safe and our services secure.
Typical shift as a Housing Concierge
As a supported Housing Concierge you will be the first point of contact for our customers ensuring their safety and security throughout the night. You'll play a vital role in creating a welcoming and supportive environment. Whether it's managing the health and safety of the building or responding to emergencies, every shift will create new challenges and the opportunity to make a positive impact.
* Managing health and safety, patrolling the building, ensuring fire doors are secure and the building is safe for our customers.
* Responding swiftly to any situation, using your quick thinking and problem solving skills to keep everything running smoothly.
* Helping to maintain a clean and pleasant environment, so you don't mind picking up a mop or broom when needed.

You bring
* Calm under pressure with great communication skills
* You get a kick out of supporting the most vulnerable in society (maybe you‘ve worked in public service). You know what’s required to look after the public and our customers too.
* You’re sociable and interested in people and their stories and like getting to know people. You use your people insights and keen eye for detail to spot changes in behaviour.
* You recognise when things are about to go wrong and are confident intervening in a sensitive way.
* A team player with the confidence to work alone. Don’t worry you’ll have the full back up of our wider team including our out of hours emergency support team.

Job details
* Working 37.5 hours per week on a rolling rota
* 21:30 and 08:00
* Although you’ll work nights / lone work, we do get together regularly, in the daytime for training and team meetings.
* Able to use technology to monitor CCTV, update records.
* You’ll need an Enhanced DBS check done and we pay for that.
