Stand Alone research and training role for a prestigious global law practice.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Undertake quality legal and business research and provide current awareness service.
2. Management of the UK Portal - ensuring it is up to date and promoted to lawyers.
3. Online product selection, evaluation and purchase.
4. Management of the procurement of hardcopy and other information products.
5. Development of training materials and programmes and train fee earners on legal databases as needed.
6. Identify opportunities for new research outputs and promoting these to the firm.
7. Promote the broader research offer to the global firm.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
1. At least 5 years’ experience in a senior research role and expertise in legal and business research.
2. Technical expertise and fluency in the use of software such as Excel; RSS feeds; SharePoint; and data integration systems.
3. Ability to curate the use of new technologies within the firm through testing, advising and training.
4. Proactive and engaging approach to scoping and managing business development enquiries.
5. The ability to manage expectations and negotiate deadlines.
6. Resourceful, creative and solutions orientated.
7. Enthusiasm and drive to provide a consistently high-quality service to clients.
