Overview of role Company: Allied Mills Location: Manchester or Tilbury An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lead HR Business Partner for Allied Mills covering our sites across Tilbury, Manchester and Belfast. You’ll be a key member of the Allied Mills leadership team as well as being a part of the broader Milling and Baking HR team. The role is broad in scope and contributes to the overall business strategy, you’ll strategically partner the team across our milling, distribution, commercial and business functions, as well as contributing to daily HR activity as required. This will ensure that all our teams are able to effectively deliver the business strategic and tactical plans. Key Accountabilities With an HR Assistant reporting to you, you’ll give clear direction by coaching for success. To ensure the best possible experience for our people you’ll use creativity and flair in implementing and delivering an HR strategy that is aligned the overall business strategy and supports it in achieving its objectives. Other responsibilities include; With the Leadership Team, champion our Zero-harm programme across the business Contribute to the development of the annual strategic plan, ensuring it is safe, cost conscious, sustainable and aligned with our values. Identifying skills gaps and working with leaders to develop their teams and ensure succession and recruitment plans are in place. Providing advice to the team on building capability and performance in all areas Reward and recognition across the business All employee engagement activities, developing a strong communications forum for the business Use people analytics, metrics and KPI’s to help drive business decisions The Right Person We’re a small team so as well as juggling multiple priorities you will need to be able to adapt and contribute to operational HR activity as and when required. You’ll have extensive generalist HR experience within a blue chip organisation with an ability to challenge and influence at all levels of the business. Demonstrable track record of developing and delivering HR initiatives. Experience of complex ER case management with proven ability to provide pragmatic and commercially sound solutions. A strong drive for delivering results and experience of delivering change programmes within a multi-functional and multi-site environment. And in return….
