Role Summary
The People Partner will work closely with the Head of People to deliver a proactive and commercial service to internal stakeholders. You will be hands-on and in a unique position to shape and deliver on strategic people initiatives whilst managing day to day employee relations advice, queries and people operations. This is an opportunity to make a real difference to the people agenda and add value, to deliver solutions both at a tactical and strategic level as a member of “Team Agile.”
Responsibilities
* Work in close partnership with key stakeholders, Senior Management and People Team colleagues for developing, implementing and driving people strategy across the spectrum: including areas such as wellbeing, restructuring, resourcing and recruitment, salary benchmarking, succession planning, talent management, Company culture, pay/reward/benefits, employee relations, employee engagement and performance management.
* Collaborate with colleagues across departments (e.g. Recruitment/Operations, Marketing etc) in support of the employee experience and to consistently enhance the employee value proposition, promoting the Company as a great place to work.
* Proactively gather, evaluate and analyse data (including trends) to support the implementation of people initiatives, including areas such as the effectiveness of people management and dynamic headcount strategy. In addition, support the constant review of HRIS systems to ensure close alignment with the needs of the business.
* Act as a change agent to support business transformation in line with Company objectives (including but not limited to: management of project deliverables, briefing documents, workshops and line manager training sessions).
* Ensure that all internal and external people reporting requirements are satisfied through the provision of management information and tactical reports.
* Develop and maintain HR policies in line with current legislation. Keep abreast of modern people procedures, legal matters and best practice and introduce new ideas and initiatives to the Company, as appropriate to support the employee experience.
* Support the identification of people training needs across the business and coach and develop employees in areas such as: Line Management, Dignity at Work and legislative matters.
* Provide expert people advice and guidance on all people matters: support managers in dealing with complex employee relation issues relating to areas such as redundancy, grievances, disciplinaries, performance management, Tier 2 sponsorship and attendance and ensure that such cases are managed in line with Company policy and best practice requirements.
* Review and update people processes to improve workflows, including those relating to people administration to ensure optimal operational effectiveness.
* Review people systems, processes and services for continuous improvements, cost effectiveness and efficiency.
* Manage the People Coordinators and support their professional development.
Minimum Requirements
* CIPD qualified.
* Previous experience working in HR as an experienced Senior HR Advisor/HR Consultant
* Ability to work as part of a team but also to work independently.
* Exceptional planning and consultative approach with project management skills and experience.
* Analytical, problem-solving and reporting skills.
* Negotiation skills and the ability to influence key stakeholders and senior managers.
* Ability to provide advice and guidance which is appropriate and fully consistent with legal requirements, Company policy and best practice.
* Experience of developing people policies and procedures.
* Up to date knowledge of employment legislation.
* Strong written, presentation and communication skills with the ability to communicate concisely and effectively at all levels.
