Join Our Team as a Casual Support Worker
Location: Maidstone, Kent
Salary: £12.18 per hour.
Hours: Zero hours flexibly, shifts vary between 7:00 am and 10.00 pm, Monday to Sunday.
Contract: Casual contract.
Driving Requirement: A full UK manual driving license is essential.
Right to Work: Applicants must have the right to work in the UK. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer any skilled worker visas.

We're looking for individuals to join our colleague team who can stay calm under pressure, who are enthusiastic and take a proactive approach, and handle behaviours that others might find challenging. What will you be doing?
As a Casual Support Worker, you'll be more than just their support – you'll be a key part of someone's journey towards living their best life. Here's what you'll be doing:
* Daily Care & Support: Helping with personal care, meal preparation, medication, and other daily tasks.
* Building Relationships: Getting to know the people you support, understanding their needs, and helping them live life on their own terms.
* Empowering Independence: Assisting with personal goals, from daily activities to long-term aspirations, and encouraging creative exploration.
* Social Engagement: Supporting activities like holidays, social events, and hobbies, ensuring everyone can enjoy what they love doing.
* Respect & Dignity: Ensuring that the individuals and their families are treated with the utmost respect, dignity, and equality.
Who you will be Supporting?
Our supported living services in Kent offers either shared or self-contained accommodation for six young ladies with a range of disabilities. We are specialists in supporting people who are autistic. Our focus is on supporting people to live independently in their own home.
We aim to excel as a specialist provider of quality care and support, ensuring the people we support are at the heart of everything we do.
Our support enables people to make choices and express their individuality. Personalisation is not a tick box exercise for us, but is fundamental to how we deliver our mission every single day of the year.
* Supporting people achieve their goals and aspirations through different forms of activities
* Enabling the people we support and promoting independence
* Assisting with personal care when required
* Administering medication after completing necessary training
* Working with the team, professionals, families, and the individual to create a proactive and supportive environment for individuals with complex health and behavioural needs and visual impairments
Applicants must be flexible regarding working hours in order to meet the needs of the service. Once training is completed there will be sleep-in shifts (paid separately) alongside your normal hours. We are looking for people with a good listening ear, that are patient, understanding and proactive who want to see the ladies we support excel in their lives, learning and becoming as independent as they can. Our ladies enjoy a range of different activities, whether it's crafts, learning to cook new recipes, going to work, swimming, days out in London or going on rollercoasters at theme parks. We encourage all to learn social skills. It's a lovely service with great people who want to make the most of their lives!
