Job Description: Start here. Grow here. Are you ready to shape the future of water infrastructure? We’re looking for an Electrical Engineer to join our growing Water Solutions team in Birmingham. In this role under the Lot 1 Major Projects Framework, you’ll support part of the delivery of Severn Trent Water’s AMP8 delivery plan worth a TotEx of £14.9 billion, working on projects ranging from small rural sites to multi-million-pound schemes, covering both water and wastewater (Infrastructure and Non-Infrastructure).
Here’s what you'll do:
1. Electrical and ICA Design: Undertake the design of electrical and ICA elements in wastewater and water infrastructure / treatment.
2. High Quality Deliverables: Produce client deliverables, including calculations, drawings and technical reports.
3. Site Surveys: Undertake non-intrusive site surveys and data gathering exercises.
4. Project Management: Support the preparation of project budget & programme.

Qualifications:
Here’s what we’re looking for:
1. Experience in the design of water and wastewater engineering deliverables.
2. Ability to work autonomously to produce the required deliverables.
3. Demonstrate sound problem-solving skills and strong communication skills.
4. BEng or MEng in a related engineering field.
5. Working towards Chartership with a relevant Professional Institution.
