Our client, a well-regarded organisation within the membership industry, is looking for a proactive Fundraising Officer to join their team on a temporary three-month basis. Position Details:
Sector: Membership/Not-for-profit Industry
Contract Type: Temporary, 3 months
Hourly Rate: £22-£25
Working Pattern: Full Time, Hybrid
Location: Closest stations are Holborn & Chancery Lane
Key Responsibilities:
1. Respond to incoming inquiries from potential donors, providing tailored information and excellent service.
2. Reconnect with past supporters to encourage repeat contributions and lasting partnerships.
3. Convert warm leads provided by the team into confirmed donations and funding commitments.
4. Handle all invoicing and ensure timely processing of payments related to fundraising activities.
5. Administer donor agreements using tools like Adobe Sign to maintain accurate records.
6. Conduct feedback surveys to learn from donor experiences and enhance future strategies.
7. Maintain organised and up-to-date records of fundraising activities and pipelines.
8. Support broader fundraising strategies by tracking progress and ensuring alignment with targets.
9. Collaborate closely with colleagues to transition secured funding agreements to delivery phases seamlessly.
Required Skills and Experience:
1. Proven experience in sales or fundraising, with a strong ability to close deals and build partnerships.
2. A background in the charity, not-for-profit, or membership sectors is highly desirable.
3. Ability to nurture warm leads and convert them into long-term supporters or donors.
4. Demonstrated success in managing repeat contributors and fostering ongoing relationships.
5. Confidence in leading discussions, hosting meetings, and negotiating terms with donors.
6. Highly detail-oriented with a proactive, results-driven mindset.
7. Exceptional interpersonal skills to create lasting connections with supporters and stakeholders.
