We are currently recruiting a Junior Design Manager with an Architectural Technician background for a leading property development and construction company based in Preston. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in design management, working on a variety of architectural and construction projects across multiple sectors. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in coordinating the design process, from concept to completion. - Provide technical support on architectural design, construction processes, and regulations. - Collaborate with project managers, consultants, and contractors to ensure project delivery. - Prepare and manage design documentation, including drawings and specifications. - Support quality assurance processes to meet project specifications and client expectations. - Contribute to client presentations and address feedback effectively. - Support the day-to-day operations of projects, ensuring deadlines and milestones are met. Essential Experience & Skills: - Background in Architectural Technology (e.g., HNC/HND in Architecture, Architectural Technology). - At least 1-2 years of experience as an Architectural Technician or in a similar construction role. - Strong knowledge of building regulations, construction detailing, and technical drawing standards. - Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design software BIM knowledge is a plus. - Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with clients, consultants, and project teams. - A proactive team player with strong problem-solving skills.
