Reinsurance Account Manager
A global insurance business is looking to strengthen a well established team with an Account Manager in London.
In collaboration with the broking team, the Account Manager will ensure clients receive high-quality technical advice and professional service. The primary focus will be on providing technical support for treaty reinsurance placements.
Key responsibilities include:
* Partnering with the broking team to market treaty reinsurance placements, involving communication with clients, colleagues from regional offices, and reinsurers.
* Offering detailed technical advice on contractual matters, including drafting slips, contracts, bespoke clauses, and provisions as needed.
* Negotiating contract content with clients and reinsurers throughout the placement process.
* Producing contractual documentation such as contract wordings, endorsements, and evidence of cover.
* Collecting and analyzing data for client and market submissions and presentations, providing insights where necessary.
* Liaising with brokers, account executives, account managers, analytics teams, clients, and reinsurers regarding submission information, portfolio developments, contract wordings, and their impact on reinsurance throughout the renewal process.
* Resolving queries from clients and reinsurers by liaising with colleagues from other departments as needed.
