We have a fantastic new role for a Marketing and Communications Manager at Made Smarter at the Growth Company (GC).
In this role, you will work with the Head of External Relations and Marketing to develop, deliver and evaluate effective marketing, communication and engagement plans that promote the Made Smarter programme.
Made Smarter leads the UK’s ambitions to grow manufacturing industries through digitalisation, upskilling and innovation to make a difference to business. It was created following an industry-led review of how UK manufacturing industries can prosper through digital tools and innovation.
GC delivers the Northwest England Made Smarter programme, working with a range of delivery partners, strategic partners, professional networks and business support bodies, to reach as many local manufacturing businesses as possible and support their growth.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver marketing and communications activity in line with the marketing strategy.
* Utilise insight, research and latest technology to create and report out on targeted, multi-channel campaigns.
* Work with suppliers and internal specialists to plan, research, create, proofread, and publish engaging content that regularly drives engagement and awareness in key target sectors. (Social Media posts, Blogs, Case Studies etc)
* Support on monthly and quarterly reporting of content and activity performance.
* To lead on the deployment of a programme of both in-person and online events designed to drive brand awareness and create lead generation.
* Support internal working groups to improve customer journey and programme offering.
* Support with the design and creation of promotional materials. (Flyers, brochures, animations, videos etc)
About you:
* A professional qualification in Marketing/Communications or a degree in similar and/or a number of years equivalent experience demonstrated in a similar role.
* Proven track record of delivering and managing multi-channel campaigns.
* Experience with supplier or financial management is essential.
* Comfortable with using co-pilots to support content curation and deployment.
* Strong content marketing skills.
* Attention to detail, numerate and ability to multi-task.
* Highly motivated and results-oriented.
