Working alongside a skilled maintenance team, you’ll be responsible for planned maintenance, installing new equipment, and commissioning plant systems. This is a hands-on role focused on improving efficiency and performance in a light engineering environment. Key Responsibilities Perform electrical maintenance and installation on a range of industrial and domestic plant systems, including BMS, boilers, AHUs, hot/cold water systems, chillers, and DFUs Update the maintenance system with logs and scheduling after each activity Proactively conduct periodic and preventative maintenance in line with production schedules Troubleshoot emergency breakdowns and offer maintenance support as required Ensure compliance with OEM standards and continuously improve maintenance processes Be an active team member focused on driving operational efficiency Act as a mentor to Electrical/Mechanical apprentices Working Hours Monday to Thursday: 07:30 – 16:30 Friday: 07:30 – 12:30 What We’re Looking For Qualified Electrician holding 18th Edition BS7671:2018 IET Wiring Regulations Experience with shop floor equipment such as mills and lathes is advantageous Strong understanding of preventative and reactive maintenance If you’re ready to take on a new challenge with a growing company that values innovation and teamwork, apply today This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading manufacturer and further your career in the precision engineering industry.
