Annual salary: up to £37,800.00 Supervisor Folkestone Full time - Permanent Role– 42.5hrs per week Salary up to £37,800 PA, plus company van and fuel card At Mears Oversees repairs and planned maintenance for Folkestone & Hythe Council. The Folkestone and Hythe stock consists of 3500 properties which Mears are responsible for carrying out repairs and improvement works to or around Council owned housing. About the role We are now seeking a Adaptations and Responsive Supervisor to join our team; Delivering excellent service and support through our local teams, who understand the importance of working together for the local community. As a Supervisor you will be supporting residents by overseeing a team of directly employed multi-trade operatives and subcontracted specialists carrying out maintenance works across our portfolio of properties. You will be providing support to our in-house team of planners diarising the work for our operatives. Your main responsibility will be for costing all jobs for approval, seeing jobs through remotely or on site and costing jobs through to the point of invoicing, with support along the way for your team to keep our residents happy and the jobs on track. You’ll need previous experience and a positive ‘can do’ attitude to excel in this role, meeting new people and delivering high standards of work and service are key. Our sub office is based in Folkestone, and you'll be expected to cover the Folkestone area. Role Criteria UK Driving Licence A good understanding of social housing. Experience in people management. Ability to build relationships with the client. Experience/knowledge in a trade (plumbing, Carpentry, Electrical) Previous experience in a Supervisory role.
