If so, we want to hear from you The Role We are seeking two Outreach Support Workers to work two-on-one with a female student with Smith-Kingsmore syndrome.

This role is focused on developing life skills, encouraging independence, and providing personalised support in both educational and community settings.
You will play a crucial role in helping her build confidence, social skills, and practical abilities for day-to-day living.
Key Responsibilities: Provide individualised support tailored to the student's unique needs.
Focus on teaching essential life skills, such as communication, social interactions, daily routines, and self-care.
Encourage and facilitate engagement in education, social activities, and the local community.
Offer emotional and practical support, fostering independence in a safe and structured way.
Work closely with families, educators, and other professionals to develop a personalised support plan.
Advocate for the student's needs and ensure access to appropriate resources and services.
Maintain accurate records to monitor progress and adapt support strategies as needed.
Skills and Experience: Experience in a support worker/carer role whether this is with children or adults.
An understanding of neurodevelopmental conditions, particularly Smith-Kingsmore syndrome, or a willingness to learn.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt to individual learning styles.
Knowledge of life skills development and strategies for promoting independence.

A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (preferred).
Days: Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday Time: 9am
- 3pm preferred however this has some flexibility.
Pay: £15
