We are looking for a dynamic and forward thinking GP to join our friendly and ambitious rural practice in the beautiful market town of Kirkbymoorside.
Due to the retirement of a long-standing partner we have an exciting opportunity for a GP Partner to join our experienced and diverse clinical team. We are a friendly, high achieving and innovative practice and have been an integral part of the local community for many years.
Full time, part time and Job share candidates are welcome.

Main duties of the job
13. The delivery of highly effective medical care to the entitled population
14. Effective management of long term conditions
15. Processing of administration in a timely manner
16. On a rotational basis undertake telephone triage and duty doctor roles
17. Maintain accurate clinical records in conjunction with good practice and guidance
18. Contribute to the effective management of the organisation including administration
19. Contribute to the training of medical students from all clinical disciplines

21. Show leadership qualities and work collaboratively to ensure an even distribution of workload

About us
The Practice is a medium size team whichworks together to deliver high quality, accessible care within a supportive, friendly learning environment. There arecurrently four GP Partners and one salaried GP. The GPs hold personal patientlists and some work part-time in a job share team with other Partners. The doctors meetdaily for a coffee, a chat, discuss cases, and have a laugh and the occasionalgrumble. The teaching and training ethos isintegral to the Practice. We host Year 5medical students from Hull York Medical School and we have the capacity to takeup to 2 GP Registrars. All doctors are involved with teaching to some extent and the Practice encourages all staff to train and develop.
The Practiceis proud of its can do attitude and seeks to be at the forefront ofinnovation.
The Practicewas rated Good at the last CQC inspection.QOF (Quality and Outcomes Framework) points have remained high andsteady since introduction in 2004.
