Main duties of the job The successful applicant will have been working in Theatres recently and will be up to date in current practices. Will provide care of patients undergoing invasive procedures admitted to the hospital and will provide surgical services to Consultants. Assisting with the moving and handling of patients and loads Ensuring that patient privacy and dignity are respected at all times Recognising a clinical emergency and respond in a positive appropriate manner Demonstrating and maintaining awareness of patient confidentiality and ensure a safe and secure environment at all times To be aware of, and demonstrate adherence to, the Hospitals policy on infection control with special attention to provision and use of PPE and sharps awareness.
