Use clinical skills and knowledge to provide specialist advice and support to peer group staff, clients and service managers. Act as a clinical expert and positive role model for all staff. Provide professional leadership, advice and guidance to nursing and non-nursing staff, within the nursing environment and foster collaborative partnerships with other disciplines. Lead in the development of clinical standards ensuring these are set, embedded and monitored in accordance with the needs of the service in conjunction with the senior OH team. To provide a comprehensive Occupational Health Service within agreed remit to all managers and staff. To assist the Trust in promoting and maintaining the health of staff. To ensure health issues are dealt with in a professional manner within the post holders area of competence. To advise, within own area of knowledge and competence, service users in regard to their health, safety and welfare at work. Support the delivery of Occupational Health Services to NHS clients and commercial employers within the remit of the contract specified.
