As we continue to expand, we are looking for an Inventory Supervisor to oversee daily store operations, ensuring efficiency and productivity.

Position: Permanent (Fulltime)
SCOPE OF ROLE
To manage and support the JSM GAS teams on day-to-day operations with regards to all aspects of supplying pipe, fittings & equipment for specifically assigned gas projects. To manage and ensure the efficient and economic use of resources, materials, transport, plant and equipment to its best potential in a safe manner.
Principle Duties and Accountabilities:
1. Oversee daily store operations, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
2. Ensure once order/requisition is received from OPS it is processed and issued to site to meet required date.
3. Maintain inventory control and manage minimum stock levels.
4. Order in bulk from client (SGN) pipe/fittings to maintain required minimum stock levels.
5. Accept deliveries and report and chase any shortfalls from the original request.
6. Take inventory of products or place orders as needed.
7. Maintain and provide stock levels for monthly report.
General Duties:
1. Manage all aspects of the GAS stores.
2. Liaise with all support staff/drivers regarding deliveries etc. and if required deliver items in person to site.
3. Ownership of assigned resources ensuring contract administration in accordance with the company integrated management system (IMS) and contract terms and conditions.
4. Promotion and implementation of SHEQ policies and procedures.
5. Ensure that all health safety quality and environmental requirements pertaining to the stores are in place and monitored.
6. Encourage the reporting of near misses.
7. Identify opportunities for introduction of new innovations and industry products.
8. Work closely with the GAS OPS management team to ensure successful resourcing for the required pipe/fittings to be available when required (up to 6 weeks in advance).
9. Work with the JSM commercial team when requested.
10. Attain relevant targets and business goals, maximizing contract profitability.
11. Produce reports as required.
12. Any other appropriate duties as might require on a contract/project basis or required by JSM management to meet the requirements of the business.
13. Provide weekly progress reports to JSM management so progress of work & finances can be monitored.

Qualifications / Competency:
1. Driving licence.
2. Gas Passport.
3. Minimum 2 years’ experience in stores position.
4. Understanding of MS Word, Excel, Project and Office Outlook.
