Position Overview
As a Personal Tutor, you will support a caseload of learners with progressive visits, observations, and providing outstanding teaching and learning to enhance the knowledge and teaching our learners receive from our recently introduced Elevate programme.
You will use our sophisticated LMS system BUD to monitor your learners' progress and work in collaboration with our Learning Support for any learners who require Functional Skills or Additional Learning Support, ensuring that every learner is at the heart of what we do.
Key Responsibilities
1. Engage, motivate, and inspire learners to achieve their work-based qualification.
2. Provide innovative and impactful teaching and learning.
3. Manage a minimum funded diverse caseload of learners across HSC levels 4-5.
4. Deliver an outstanding experience for all learners and employers.
5. Stretch and challenge your learners to succeed and reach their potential.
6. Provide valuable and insightful feedback to every learner to enable further professional development.
7. Build and nurture strong relationships with our employer partners.
8. Champion and encourage the use of Elevate Workshops.
9. Drive progression through impactful visits.
10. Provide detailed feedback to learners and employers following review meetings or observations.
11. Adhere to GDPR regulations and all internal information and data security policies and procedures.
Requirements
What our ideal applicant has:
1. Minimum of Level 3 Assessor (CAVA, TAQA, D32, A1, V1).
2. Teaching qualification (AET, PTTLS).
3. Level 5 qualifications within the Health & Social Care sector.
4. Experience of delivering outstanding teaching and learning.
5. Experience of managing a diverse caseload.
6. Knowledge and experience of EPA.
7. Access to a car and able to travel for in-person learner observations, 1:1s, and team meetings.
