As an experienced Anaesthetic & Recovery practitioner you will demonstrate excellent knowledge, skills and be proactive and visible in order to build and form good relationships with your team and with the wider MDT. In this role you will be responsible for the day to day running of theatres and be required to coordinate the elective service provision by working collaboratively with anaesthetists, clinicians and the ward in providing effective management of elective surgery. We have recently completed 6 new Theatres at Chorley which added to our existing theatres give us 13 theatres covering a variety of specialties including Paediatrics. Our current activity is over five working days Monday to Friday but may be expanding in the future therefore you must be a confident and strong leader who can provide support to junior staff out of hours and manage a varied and demanding workload and provide clear direction to your team.
