Ob Opportunity: Senior Quantity Surveyor (SQS)
Our client, a leading main contractor in Nottinghamshire, has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor. This role has become available due to the company's continuous growth. For over 25 years, our client has been building purpose-built care homes and offers a full contracting solution, including construction, fit-out, landscaping, and handover.
Due to this growth, they require a new Senior Quantity Surveyor (SQS) to join their commercial team. This position involves working on JCT/D&B contracts in the East Midlands.
Location: Nottinghamshire Role: Senior Quantity Surveyor Start Date: Immediate Salary: Up to £65,000 plus benefits
Key Responsibilities:

Cost Management: Oversee all aspects of cost management and project budgeting.
2.
Tendering Process: Manage the tendering process, including preparation and submission of detailed tenders.
3.
Contract Administration: Administer contracts and ensure compliance with legal and contractual obligations.
4.
Valuations: Conduct regular valuations and monitor project cash flow.
5.
Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks.
6.
Client Liaison: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors.
7.
Cost Reporting: Prepare detailed cost reports and financial statements for management.
8.
Procurement: Oversee procurement processes and negotiate favorable terms with suppliers.
9.
Project Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation.
10.
Team Leadership: Provide leadership and mentorship to junior quantity surveyors and support staff.
