What You'll Be Doing:
As a Housekeeping Assistant, you’ll be a key member of our team, ensuring our space stays spotless and welcoming for everyone. Here’s what your day might look like:
Keep It Sparkling: Making sure every corner of our property is clean and hygienic – because a clean space is a happy space!
Team Player: Helping out your colleagues with housekeeping tasks and working together to create a lovely environment.
⏰ Flexible Hours: Working shifts as planned by senior staff – because teamwork makes the dream work!
♀️ Supporting Others: Assisting our service users in keeping their personal spaces neat and organised, following their personal plans.
Learn & Grow: Sharing your knowledge with new team members and joining in on training sessions to build your skills.
Stay Safe: Taking part in Health & Safety training and making sure all tasks meet CrossReach’s high standards.
COSHH Savvy: Being aware of safety around substances used for cleaning – we’ll teach you all about it!
What You’ll Need:
No previous experience? No problem! If you’ve worked in a care setting before, that’s a plus, but it’s not essential. We’re looking for someone who:
Has basic computer skills (like using Microsoft Office and the internet)
Respects all aspects of Christian worship
Is willing to join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme (we’ll help you with this)
