The Role:
My mainstream secondary school client based near Cheltenham is actively seeking a versatile and driven Cover Supervisor to join their team as soon as possible, undertaking a twelve month fixed term contract on a 32.5 hours per week basis. My client is particularly keen to hear from PE specialists with the scope for a part-time PE teaching contract. This is an excellent opportunity for ECTs and aspiring teachers looking to build their classroom experience, as well as experienced Cover Supervisors, who are interested in broadening their skillset in a new and supportive environment. To be successful you will need to have excellent written and verbal communication skills to deliver lessons across Key Stages 3 to 5 in the absence of the classroom teacher, in addition to a genuine desire to support students and facilitate their success.
The School:
You will be joining a well resourced PE department, making full use of the school’s PE facilities. This school prides itself on the professional development opportunities it offers and as such this is an excellent opportunity for experienced cover supervisors seeking a new and vibrant environment as well as existing PE teachers that are eager to gain some broader experience outside their subject specialism. They are always eager to hear from passionate and ambitious educators that are looking to develop their skillset with the support of the school. Depending on the experience of the cover supervisor they can expect a salary of £20,555 - £21,577 per annum.
