Read on Position: Digital Marketing Manager (Maternity Cover - 12 Month Fixed-Term Contract) Location: Glasgow, Head Office Job Type: Part-Time, 3 Days Per Week Salary: £24,000pa Benefits: Annual bonus, 28 days annual leave increasing with length of service plus 4 public holidays, medical cash-back programme, free on-site parking, staff discounts and more The Role An exciting opportunity has arisen within Matthew Algie to apply for the position of Digital Marketing Manager on a part-time, fixed-term basis. In your role, you will drive forward essential digital marketing projects, boosting the company’s digital presence within the market and drive a significant increase in relevant B2B engagements and enquiries for the core channels we operate in. These include Cafes, Convenience, Retail, Hospitality and Workplace Key Responsibilities: • Development and delivery of the lead generation and content strategy (including pay-per-click advertising, email marketing and telemarketing strategies) • With support from an external agency, development and implementation of pay-per-click (PPC) advertising on relevant channels. Platforms includie Google, Bing, Meta and LinkedIn. • Management of our group websites, including Matthew Algie, Smokin’ Bean and Espresso Warehouse • Digital and Web Agency management and liaison for key digital projects within agreed budgets • Delivery of a rich stream of blog posts and social media content • Management of the UK and Ireland group social media strategy in line with brand and channel strategies. • Content writing, keyword research and website optimisation in line with SEO best practices. • Creating and delivering an email marketing strategy, plus refinement and growth of GDPR-compliant email databases ( GDPR compliance) • Managing the Digital Marketing budget in line with the overall marketing budget and company objectives • Line management of Digital Marketing Assistant Skills / Knowledge: • With Working knowledge of MS Office applications • Well-read on digital marketing trends and techniques & proactive in imparting such knowledge • Able to pull a compelling story together from multiple sources • Outstanding copy-writing skills, suited to any given context • Knowledgeable in B2B online lead generation techniques (including SEO, Pay-per-click, Social Media) • Working knowledge of website content management systems, email marketing tools, and social media platforms • Budget management and agency management skills • Ability to analyse and interpret data • Solid commercial understanding and evaluation skills • Able to multitask and work to multiple deadlines • A flair for writing engaging and insightful content in multiple contexts (email, blogs, websites, e-zines, white papers) • Excellent organisational and time management skills in a fast-paced environment • Great interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and engage others Personal Attributes: • Investigative and tenacious • A self-starter who will get on with the job (while aligning to company policies and brand values) • A natural innovator and creative thinker • An eye for design and on-page impact • Investigative and quick to learn and become an expert in their field • Target driven & enjoys a challenge • Works well with others across multiple functions • Confident and comfortable working individually or as part of a team • Positive and proactive • Embraces continual learning and development • Shows passion for their subject matter (digital marketing, coffee etc) • Solution-finding/out-of-the-box thinker Application If this sounds like you, then you could be the right fit for us Please click APPLY, upload your CV and we’ll be in touch as soon as we can.
