What We’re Looking For:
* QCF Level 3 in Children and Young People Residential Care (required).
* Experience in residential childcare (at least 1 year).
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Full UK driving licence (required).
* Excellent communication skills and a positive, solution-focused mindset.
Your Role Will Include:
* Leading by Example: Support and motivate a team of Residential Support Workers to deliver the highest standard of care.
* Team Development: Provide mentoring, guidance, and on-the-job coaching to staff to ensure continuous professional growth.
* Managing Day-to-Day Operations: Ensure smooth daily running of the home, including scheduling shifts, managing staff performance, and overseeing care plans.
* Supporting Young People: Ensure the young people in our care are thriving emotionally, physically, and socially, helping them reach their full potential.
* Health & Safety Oversight: Take responsibility for ensuring all health and safety regulations are adhered to, alongside managing care plans and risk assessments.
* Collaborating with the Home Manager: Work closely with the Home Manager to foster a positive, supportive, and engaging environment for both young people and staff.
* Problem-Solving: Proactively address any issues that arise within the home, working to find solutions and improve outcomes for the young people and the team.
