About Coed Parc House:
Nestled in Cwmavon near Port Talbot, Coed Parc offers six stunning sole-occupancy apartments tailored for adults aged 18 and above. Each apartment features private bedrooms, kitchens, lounges, and bathrooms, meticulously designed to meet the individual needs of our residents, ensuring comfort and personalised living spaces.
Are you looking for a new challenge and the opportunity for career development? We have an exciting opportunity in Port Talbot for an experienced Senior Support Worker to join our residential home in Coed Parc. Where you will support individuals with complex needs associated with autism.
You will be assisting in the day to day management of the home and help continue to improve the lives of the individuals we support. You will play a vital role in both the home and wider organisation, acting as a positive role model to both staff and our supported individuals.

A day in the life of a Senior Support Worker with Orbis Education and Care Involves:
Act as shift leader
Assist in ensuring service scouring standards are maintained.
Participating in the on-call rota.
Assist in reporting and evidence gathering activities.
Work in partnership with internal and external stakeholders.
Participate in assessment, development and review of support and care plans.
Promote and celebrate homes achievements.To be a successful Senior Support Worker with Orbis Education and Care, you'll need:
Experience in a support environment.
QCF level 3 qualified.
Knowledge of statutory regulations.
Lead by example and always act as a positive role model.
Upload company policies and standards.
Able to understand and adhere to relevant safeguarding.
Good awareness of conducting Health and Safety risk assessments.Please note: This job role involves regulated activity with adults and requires an enhanced DBS with barred list check.
