Your birthday off Pay care scheme 5% Matched pension scheme Beer fridge Friday and quarterly social events Cycle to work scheme Free parking Enhanced maternity and paternity leave and more… DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES | In the Exclusive Networks Vendor Alliances Team, the Business Development Manager hunts down new Gigamon sales opportunities that fuel Targeted New Logo Deal Registrations and achieve the desired pipeline coverage for channel-initiated business by: Championing Gigamon across the Exclusive Networks sales organisation and proactively driving Gigamon sessions face to face with partners Converting the latest Gigamon strategy, messaging, news and information into tangible actions Uncovering, nurturing, qualifying, and advancing partnerships with Distribution Managed Partners Collaborating with other Gigamon BDM'S across EMEA to share best practices and ideas Providing a hunting influence over the wider EXN EMEA Gigamon team Main responsibilities: Reporting to the Gigamon Business Unit or Vendor Director, the Exclusive Networks Gigamon BDM is responsible for: Channel Strategy and Development: Developing and implementing strategic plans to expand and optimise Gigamon incremental business. Identifying and recruiting new channel partners to increase Gigamon market share. Analysing market trends and competitor activities to refine channel strategies. Partner Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and new channel partners. Providing training and support to channel partners to ensure effective product representation. Owning pipeline generation across the distribution managed partners. Sales and Performance Monitoring: Monitoring sales targets, KPIs and performance of channel partners. Analysing sales data and generating reports to assess channel performance and identify areas for improvement. Collaborating with partners to develop and execute joint marketing and sales initiatives. Attending regular cadence meetings with Gigamon sales and distribution leaders. Collaboration and Communication: Working closely with internal teams, vendor teams, including marketing, pre-sales, services, and operations, to ensure alignment and support for channel activities. Communicating effectively with partners to address issues, provide feedback, and share best practices. Attending EXN & Gigamon events. Market Insights and Feedback: Gathering and analysing feedback from channel partners to inform sales and marketing strategies. Staying informed about industry trends and developments to anticipate market changes and opportunities. Keeping up to date with Gigamon technology alliances and competitive offers. Regular reporting to EXN and Gigamon key stakeholders. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE | Skills & Qualifications: A minimum of 3-5 years’ relevant sales experience within the IT industry. Ability to effectively build relationships, and uncover opportunities for Gigamon with a value-based approach Ability to navigate organisational structures to identify and engage champions, key decision makers, and influencers Good written and oral communication skills to create professional presentations for interested partners Good customer service skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good time management and organisational skills Qualities & Experience: Previous experience in a BDR, SDR, inside sales or other relevant B2B sales role High sense of urgency with an optimistic approach to new business development and an energy and desire to prospect daily for Gigamon Demonstrated success in meeting sales goals, with evidence of having methodically built and sustained a quality pipeline of prospects and moved them through the sales cycle Experience with CRM software A passion for helping existing and potential partners Willingness to travel to give presentations, meet with potential partners, attend conferences, trade shows, and other events If you think you might be a good fit but don't necessarily meet every requirement we encourage you to apply, you may be the right candidate for other roles.
