Supported Living Manager - Learning Disabilities
Cumbria. Permanent
Salary up to £37,000 plus generous benefits.
Are you seeking a new permanent opportunity as a Supported Living Manager providing support to people with learning difficulties? Working for an established provider of care and support to children, young people and adults with learning and other disabilities with support tailored to suit their choices.
The role:
* Supporting a skilled and knowledgeable support team providing care and support to people with learning difficulties living in their own homes.
* Work in line with the company values of being person-centred, positive, and inclusive.
* Offer the support required to suit the needs of the people being supported, ensuring the highest quality of care at all times.
* Staff supervision and promoting personal and professional development.
* Leading teams through mentoring, coaching, and training.
* Develop & implement support plans.
* Adhere to relevant company policies and procedures and also relevant legislative practices.
* On-call support, advice, guidance, and assistance.
* Attend and chair meetings and any HR functions including performance management.
The ideal person:
* Previous experience of working as a manager in a care setting with a Level 4 - 5 qualification in Leadership & Management.
* Committed and well-organised with a positive mindset and the ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team.
* Excellent communicators with a good understanding of regulatory compliance and the ability to demonstrate delivery of a quality service to better improve the customer journey.
* Training background in PBS Team Teach would be desirable but not essential.
* Flexible to work shifts including sleep-ins where required.
* Flexible to work on the 'on-call' system on a rota basis.
