Maintenance Engineer required to join a well-established supplier of diesel injectors and pumps based in the Slough area. They are looking to hire an in-house maintenance engineer to repair and maintain their range of Diesel injectors. The ideal candidate will have Diesel Engine experience, be Mechanically biased and will be based locally to Egham.
Maintenance Engineer Position Overview
* Clean, disassemble and assemble diesel fuel injection components for injectors and pumps
* Use of chemical and mechanical cleaning equipment with fuel injection components
* Control test procedures and record data using computer systems and software
* Use of measuring equipment such as micrometres, callipers, indicators and air gauging equipment.
* Test, inspect and assemble injection components.
* Perform various admin tasks when required
Maintenance Engineer Position Requirements
* Previous experience within a Mechanical Discipline (Automotive, HGV, Plant etc)
* Previous experience with Diesel Engines
* Manual Machining experience highly beneficial
* Experience in superfinishing is advantageous
* Must be detail oriented and results driven
* Able to work within a team and independently
* Able to handle time and output pressure
* Must be within a commutable distance of Egham
Maintenance Engineer Position Remuneration
* Full Time Monday to Friday 08:00am - 18:00pm
* Overtime available on request
* 28 days holiday (Including BH)
