The role is very much a relationship management, telephone role, providing day to day support, specialist knowledge and mentoring to benefit the sales performance of a cohort of Mortgage Advisors – regionally based, typically for around 150 Advisors. They deal with day-to-day queries by phone and email, ensuring accurate information and guidance is provided in a timely way, in line with expected service levels. The BDC supports the roll out of new products, system functionality and key regulatory changes as they impact sales and service activities. They are expected to maintain an up to date knowledge of products, policies, regulatory requirements, system functionality (including business to business functions, product/policy sourcing sites and marketing tools), to provide day-to-day support to all network firms. What wil you be doing? Providing day to day, telephone-based account management for our smaller accounts Providing day to day support to our Business Development Managers and assisting with their larger accounts Proactively building strong relationships with Advisors Telephoning Advisors, reviewing their business objectives and overall sales performance Fielding incoming calls from Advisors and assisting them with their requirements Coaching and mentoring the Advisors to help improve their results Providing specialist knowledge and advice to Advisors, on additional avenues they can take, to develop new business Drafting high quality, written communication to confirm actions agreed / taken Record keeping and completing reports and management information Being the technical support to the Advisors for any queries relating to the inhouse “Revolution” CRM system Ensuring Advisors sales processes operate in line with FCA compliance regulations Our ideal candidate Previous experience or understanding of the mortgage industry preferred but not essential Relationship builder Coaching and development mindset Probing, investigative and analytical Close attention to detail Organised, able to plan and proactively carry out telephone or Teams development calls Assertive communicator Ability to prepare reports, create and interpret MI Able to fully satisfy the pre employment screening process which comprises of right to work, identity, 5 years referencing, AML, credit screen, financial sanctions and DBS checks How to apply Apply with CV.
