An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the urology nursing team. The role involves supporting the team with specialised procedures and tests in the outpatient setting and Midland Metropolitan hospital. You will also have the opportunity to independently run a flow rate clinic upon completion of competencies, always with the support of a qualified nurse. Additionally, some clerical duties will be required, such as booking appointments and referring patients to community services like district nurses.
Responsibilities:
1. Assisting the urology nurse specialist and consultants perform urodynamic tests, transperineal biopsies and lithotripsy.
2. Clerical duties such as booking appointments and referring to community services and ordering stock.
3. Independently running a uroflowmetry clinic.
