If you're keen, enthusiastic, and approachable, with some technical support experience and a strong desire to succeed, we’d love to hear from you The Role Responsibilities: - Support the Head of IT and IT Operations Team Leader and partners in delivering planned IT projects. - Manage onsite IT requirements outside the scope of support provided by partners, including: - Installing, moving, and modifying onsite equipment. - Supporting factory and warehouse IT, such as handheld devices, printers, and production line, packing, warehousing, and dispatch equipment. - Handling patching and network setup. - Providing skilled "remote hands" for third-party providers. - Act as a point of contact for third-party partners and internal users to: - Log support tickets. - Monitor ticket resolution. - Assist in scheduling support activities and onsite visits. - Install and configure WARP-specific software applications and tools, including scheduling patching and upgrades. - Ensure the security and integrity of data, systems, and equipment. - Maintain an accurate and up-to-date IT asset register. - Manage IT asset inventory, including preparing and issuing equipment for new starters. - Assist new starters with account setup, registration, and onboarding. - Support the offboarding process, including recycling or re-profiling returned devices for disposal or reissue. - Maintain communication rooms in a clean and organized condition. - Provide ad-hoc desk-side training to users. - Document IT solutions, and standard procedures in a knowledge base. Knowledge Requirements: - Good communication skills for interacting with users of varying technical expertise. - Experience in installing and supporting PC hardware and software technologies. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office/O365, Windows 11, and other commercial applications. - Knowledge of troubleshooting and supporting mobile devices (Apple/Android). - Understanding of structured cabling, network devices, patching, and TCP/IP. - Experience with patching and upgrade processes (testing and rollout). - Knowledge of network and cybersecurity principles. - Experience with Apple hardware and software (desirable). - Familiarity with maintaining printers, handheld devices, and industrial IT equipment (desirable).
