To be successful as an Investment Banking Enhanced Due Diligence Analyst, you should have:
1. Good knowledge and understanding of Financial Crime, Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs), and Anti-Money-Laundering processes.
2. Experience with portfolio and time management skills.
3. Risk awareness and the ability to identify and break down potential mitigating factors through thorough analysis.
This role is based in Glasgow.
Purpose of the Role
To complete EDD/Exits cases which includes day-to-day processing, reviewing, reporting, trading, and issue resolution.
Accountabilities
1. Support with day-to-day Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD)/Exits initiatives including processing, reviewing, reporting, trading, and issue resolution.
2. Execution of EDD reviews on high-risk customers to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and policies.
3. Execution of exit reviews on customers who are having their accounts closed to mitigate risk, aligned to compliance and internal policy.
4. Collaboration with teams across the bank to align and integrate EDD and exit processes.
5. Identification of areas for improvement and providing recommendations for change in EDD and exit processes.
6. Development and implementation of issue resolutions relating to any inefficient controls.
7. Development of reports and presentations on EDD and exit performance and communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders.
8. Participation in projects and initiatives to improve EDD and exit efficiency and effectiveness.
