We are currently partnering with a Housing Association based in Middlesex, who are recruiting for a Governance Manager to join their growing team on a 12-month fixed term contract .
This is a full-time position with a salary of £52,582 .
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
* Developing, implementing and monitoring RHP’s governance framework, ensuring alignment with regulations and best practices
* Provide expert governance advice to the RHP Board, committees, and subsidiaries
* Organising and managing board and committee meetings, including agenda preparation, minute-taking, and decision tracking
* Maintaining company registers, manage Companies House filings, and oversee compliance returns
* Building and maintaining stakeholder relationships, addressing governance-related enquiries and concerns.
* Advising on governance trends and best practices to support long-term strategic goals
Desirable Experience:
* CGI Company Secretarial Qualification
* Company secretarial / governance experience with a social housing provider
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
* Professional knowledge of the legal, regulatory and policy frameworks in which housing associations operate
* Proven experience in governance, risk management, and compliance, ideally within a regulated sector such as housing, public, or charitable sector
